Are you willing to communicate by phone, email, in person, or in print with residents of your district, ask for their input or to explain why you support or oppose items voted on at city council meetings?
Absolutely. I have always been available to the residents of our city by letter, in person, by
telephone, and by email at City Hall. As most of you know, I have an Open Door Policy,
and I am available 24/7. I am and have been available to listen and discuss any subject or issue or
concern that relates to city business. As Mayor, I do not have a vote at council meetings unless
the council vote is tied. Nevertheless, I always promote the items on the agenda which I feel
benefit the City and I always work to negotiate with the council to achieve my goals for the City.
